Sharing on behalf of Construction Sector Accord
Accord Beacons Awards are back in 2023 and we’re looking for nominations
Are you involved in a construction business or project that is doing something better than the ordinary? Are you doing something new or different that is getting results? Do you think others in the sector should know about it?
If this sounds like you, The Construction Sector Accord wants to hear about it.
The Construction Sector Accord is celebrating examples of good practice and innovation in the construction sector at this year’s Beacons Awards event on 6 September in Wellington, and we are looking for nominations for our new open nominations category.
Traditionally our awards have only included those construction case studies that have been selected though our comprehensive application process to be published on the Accord’s website. These full case studies from 2022 – 2023 are all finalists in our supreme award category. See the full case studies here
Because we know there are so many other examples of good practice going on in the sector, this year we are adding a new open nominations category to recognise and celebrate a wider range of businesses, organisations and projects in the industry.
About our new open nominations category
This category is for those who have not previously been selected as a Beacon case study. We’re looking for organisations, businesses or exceptional construction projects that represent the type of good practice Accord wants to promote across the sector. These can be from organisations of different sizes, from across the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors, all around New Zealand.
Judging criteria includes:
Beacons case studies will typically focus on one area of ‘good practice’, falling into one of the following categories: client leadership (procurement), innovation, environment, or people.
If this sounds like you or someone you know, you can:
