Join us to hear from authors Dr Helen Lingard and Dr Michelle Turner about their latest book covering how worker’s health and wellbeing are impacted by working in the construction industry.
Key focus areas include the relationship between working time, health and wellbeing, women’s health in construction, healthy aging at work and young construction workers. They will also talk about some of the recent Australian experiences in creating a Culture Standard that is currently being piloted across a number of large construction projects.
Helen Lingard is RMIT Distinguished Professor and Director the Construction Work Health and Safety @ RMIT research group. She has been an active researcher in the field of construction work health and safety for more than 20 years.
Michelle Turner is an Associate Professor in the School of Property, Construction and Project Management and co-leads the construction health and wellbeing research stream at RMIT. Michelle has more than fifteen years of experience working with the construction industry in her capacity as a health, wellbeing and resilience researcher.
